Aims of the department

This department aims to create a suitable environment for students who would like to get used from the academic and social programs of the university and its services. The academic program of bachelor’s degree in chemistry was designed to prepare students who like to study chemistry theoretically and practically at the main chemistry disciplines. Through the available efforts and scientific devices, this department aims to serve the local society. In addition to that, it always connects and cooperates with local and international universities in order to contribute in popularization the practical knowledge locally

Conditions of acceptance

  • Having a scientific baccalaureate by 1800 degree at least.
  • Applying to the system of the university’s acceptance.

Preferable skills

The ability to analyze row materials and oversee quality control at the laboratories of public and private sectors.To have broad experience in scientific, practical, and research scoops to qualify students to work in chemical industries within different companies, factories, and in laboratories of designing, discovering, and analyzing materials.

THE THEORETICAL PART : first section:  brief historical, organization and the structure(cell wall ,vacuoles and plastid )
Second section : morphology : which is the description of the physical form and external structure of plants .   and classification of plants ,seeds ,forms , function ,sources, adaption and the effect of environment factors
Third section : plant anatomy: the study of the internal structure of plants,
THE PRACTICAL PART:  the study of  plant cellular structure, types ,mutation
Plant anatomy:  tissues ,root ,stem and leaf anatomy structure. and often involves the sectioning of tissues and microscopy
