Agricultural statistic engineer works independently in studying statistical agricultural and environmental facts, preparing and developing data, preparing executive statistical agriculturework plan. He/she concludes, evaluates,and analyzes studies in accordance with statistical standard, prepares technical reports, manages, works on developing their skills, develops procedures, and provides requirements of occupational safety and health. The tasks are:- Identifying, developing and evaluating statistical design elements.
- Identifying community study objectives and the mechanism of action and time plan.
- Identifying statistical resources.
- Following-up field surveys.
- Determininginformation, tables and lists presentation methods.
- Following-up and developing quality standard system.
- Developing procedures and working methods using modern techniques.
- Preparing and submitting statistical and technical research reports and agricultural economic indicators.
- Evaluating performance, and determining their need for training for training them to develop their skills.
- Providing and developing occupational safety and health requirements.
Environment of work
- He/she works about 8 hours a day except in the weekend, but sometimes he/she works extra time during field survey trips
- Work environments ranges between office, field, and field survey trips.
