He/ She prepares all the drawings, maquettes and implementation of volumetric (models). He/ She also follows up the implementation of various engineering projects. He/ She prepares required reports.The tasks assigned to him/her as follows:
- prepare architect engineering charts.
- implement the volumetric models of complementary design.
- understand engineering charts and follow up their implementation.
- receive the carried out work and match with the charts.
- describe the resulted problems.
- contact with raw material suppliers.
- receive the carried out work and match with the charts.
- prepare engineering documents.
- In the administrative field:
- participate in the preparation of projects terms.
- prepare daily reports about the type of implemented work.
- In the field of education:
- work in laboratories in technological institutes and colleges of civil engineering and architecture.
Environment of work
Civil and architect engineer assistant works in the implementation of civil engineering projects at a rate of 8 hours per day. He /She may need to work overtime to finish the project. He/ She needs a helmet, rubber boot. He / She use special tools to complete his/her work. Also, he/she can work in his/her own establishment. He/ She should commit to the international standards in testing materials. He/ She coordinates with the supervising engineer and team work to propose appropriate solutions to improve the specifications and work to ensure the quality. Professional life
Civil and architect engineer assistant can work solo or in a team both in the private sector or public sector. He/ She is often the supervisor of the team or group that works with . (his /her monthly salary at first is up to 17,000 S.P).His/ Her career path develop when gaining practical experience. He /She may promote to work in the largest departments such as management of warehouses and quality control. He/ She could travel to do some tests or follow up the implementation of the project. He/ She may have training to get experience in the engineering field.
Getting the job
To enter this profession, he/she should have an institutional degree in construction engineering.He / She should have a good knowledge in some subjects( architectural drawing- models-building construction- reinforced material- quantities calculation
