His/her tasks entrusted to water and can be Classified as follows:
In the administrative area:
 
  • Preparing the terms of private and general  tenders for all projects of water structures
  • Preparing technical reports for the previous water projects.
  • Evaluating the performance of, identifying their training needs, training them and working on their skills development.
  • Providing with  tools for occupational ,health safety, and  adequate sanitary conditions, the development of procedures to Ensure Provision of occupational health and safety requirements for personnel and public

In the field of education:
  • He/shestudies all civil facilities necessary to assemble , extract and supply of water required for the quantity and quality needed for residential and industrial areas from dams to collect excess water in lakes to be ready to used when needed.
  • He/she works on the generation of electricity from dams and reservoirs within a clean environment.

Environment of work

  • He/sheworks hard in a tough field environment in the  average of ten hours a day, and he/she may need to work in weekends.
  • He Works hard in a tough field environment in the  average of ten hours a day, seven days a week, sometimes in weekendsto construct  if work on  performance or investment  of dams, In some cases he/she may work overtimes  to do  large amounts of  concrete or earthen landfills  that need to be implemented for a long time.
  • Dress appropriate for the engineer is thick cotton cloth. He/she  also should cover the head with a hard plastic cap to protect him/her from the harsh sun and some materials falling overheads in the site.
  • He/she needs multi-technological means to accomplish his job.
  • He/she cannot work alone and every the water engineering work needs all other engineering disciplines.
  • He/she has to fulfill the conditions of international standard specifications for all businesses no to ensure the quality of the performance
